Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has made the commitment of booking 10,000 tickets of the upcoming movie Adipurush, specifically for the underprivileged children. Adipurush is based on Ramayana and stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Goddess Sita, Sunny Singh as Laxman, and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. It is directed by Om Raut and backed by T-Series.
This act of kindness by the actor is to ensure that all the people, regardless their status are able to watch the one of the most anticipated films of the year.
Adipurush has remained in production for around three years because of its heavy requirement of VFX effects. The movie is made of the whopping budget of Rs 700 crores, as per some reports. However, official sources have claimed that the budget is around Rs. 500 crore. Several reports have suggested that the movie has already recovered Rs 453 crore.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir will be next seen in Animal. The movie will feature Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role, Anil Kapoor will be playing the role of his father, Bobby Deol in pivotal role. It is scheduled to hit the theatres in August, wherein the protagonist will be portraying character of a gangster.
