Salman Khan had filed a defamation case against his neighbour Ketan Kakkad, who own a plot on the hill, right next to actor’s Panvel farmhouse. Ketan is a resident of Malad and as per Salman, he has defamed  the actor while giving an interview to a YouTuber. Two other people who were a part the video are reportedly made parties in the suit alongwith the social media giants such as Google, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook. The actor wants these companies to block and remove the defamatory content against him on their sites, as per reports.

India Today reports that Salman has filed for plea for injuction states that the court should refrain them from uploading/loading, communicating, hosting, retweeting, giving interviews or circulating the defamatory content in any other possible way.

Today, Salman’s case came up for hearing and Kakkad’s advocates stated that they haven’t had enough time to go through the entire suit as they received the papers the last night. Advocate Abha Singh also stated that if the actor can wait for a month to file the lawsuit, then some time should definitely be granted to Kakkad for his response.

Judge Laddhad decided to give time to Kakkad’s advocate to file a reply and adjourned the case while giving January 21 as the next hearing date .
