Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has been known for giving superhit movies in her amazing career, stood out as truly newsworthy recently after she was hospitalised. It was reported that the actress was hospitalized for a couple of days in Hyderabad following an autoimmune condition called Myositis. And currently, she has decided to take a day off from her treatment to promote her forthcoming pan-Indian film, ‘Yashoda’, the actress has talked about her health, during a promotional interview.
Speaking about it, emotional Samantha said ”As I said in my post (Instagram), some days are good, some are bad. Some days, I’ve felt even taking one more step would be difficult.” However, she added that when she looks back, she wonders if she has gone through so much and has come this far. “I’m here to fight.”

The actress also added that she wants to clear up one thing. “I saw a lot of articles describing my condition as life-threatening. The stage I’m in, it’s not life-threatening. At the moment, I’m not dead yet.” According to her, she doesn’t think those headlines were quite necessary.
In the meantime, on the professional front, the actress is presently looking forward to the release of ‘Yashoda’, helmed by Hari–Harish. Samantha portrays a surrogate mother, unravelling the secrets of the medical world in the movie.
