Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan will reportedly be appearing in one of the episodes of Zee TV’s famous show Kundali Bhagya. In that episode, he would be seen as a cop. On Instagram, Anjum Fakih, who portrays the role Srishti Arora on the show, posted a couple of photos with the Indian cricketer. ‘Dhawan bhi aur Dabangg bhi…’ she captioned the post.
On Monday, Shikhar Dhawan shared a video on his Instagram account in which he played the role of a police officer. He captioned the post, “Aali Re Aali! Aata Tujhi Baari Aali! Coming Soon For Something New.” The cricketer was dressed in a police uniform in the video. In the video, he fights goons while the song ‘Singham’ plays in the background. The goons can be seen surrendering in front of the India batter at the end of the video.
Shikhar has not played for India since an ODI against Bangladesh in December 2022. The 37-year-old opener has not given up hope of playing in the World Cup at home later this year.
Dhawan, one of the finest openers India has produced in the 50-over format, was dropped from the side after a poor run that included three games in Bangladesh in December.
