Video: Laundryman allegedly sews corpse in TN Govt hospital

As per latest reports, a laundryman got witnessed in a dreadful video recording who was stitching a dead body after an autopsy at the administrative hospital in Thuraiyur close to Tiruchirappalli.

The shocking video recording has turned viral all over the web.

The functionaries from the Health division stated that the person witnessed in the video recording is certainly a laundryman. The shocking incident occurred on April 24. The man got recognized as laundryman named Veeramani.

It has been revealed that Veeramani was selected as a laundryman in the administrative hospital for just three months.

The report added up that 3 hospital staffers have been suspended with reference to the scandalous episode. At first, the Thuraiyur Police officials stated that the video recording has turned viral on WhatsApp and the collectorate personnel verified that some Tamil news agencies have carried the report on May 11.

The reports proposed that the person witnessed in the video recording was holding a needle and he has also put on the gloves on his hands. In addition, the person has put on a lungi while carrying out the postmortem on a corpse. The report added that the hospital boasts of 12 medical doctors, 17 nurses, 4 sanitary employees and three staffer members for carrying out the post-mortem. The video recording of a guy putting on a lungi turned viral in this backdrop.

In the meantime, Dr S Samsath Begum, joint director of health services told media people that an investigation ordered by her showcased that the laundryman got involved in sewing up a dead body after a medical expert felt exhausted and gave away the job to him. She refused that Veeramani was carrying out the postmortem. A report from the hospital heads stated that this happened because of the lack of medical doctors and other staff members. A high-level investigation has been ordered into the occasion by the state health section.
