Women’s gymnast Simon Biles won the American Gymnastics Championships title for the sixth time. With this victory, she also equaled the 71-year-old record on Sunday. In Kansas City, Biles got first position with 118.500 points. Biles became the second female gymnast in the country to win the title for the sixth time. She equaled Clara Scorth Lomadi.
.@Simone_Biles keeps her race against perfection, making the first double double beam dismount but misses never-before-seen move in her floor routine.
"I feel like I compete for perfection.. whenever I don’t do that, it really irritates me."

However, she is in talks for her historic move. Simone is also a pro at inventing new moves in her sport. Before this weekend though, what she did is actually breath-taking and we didn’t know she could land one of the hardest moves in the history of gymnastics.
When she was competing in Kansas City, she landed a triple-twisting double flip during her floor routine. It consists of three twists and two flips, and it’s nearly seems impossible to do for any gymnast. She is the first gymnast even to attempt it, and successfully done it.
Since the videos of Simone achieving the pass went viral online, it has viewed millions of times already. Watch the video right here:

After landing the cyclone-like move just two days later after tried it for the first time, she was thrilled and said. “I’m just happy that I landed it,” Biles said after the sticking the landing, “After Night one, my confidence got shot down, so I was really worried about it going into today. That’s all I could worry about.”
She further said, “I feel like you carry that momentum through the entire meet,” Biles added,”The other day, I was doing angry gymnastics, and I was just really upset. Then today, it was just like back to normal and happy.”

Congratulating her on her historic Triple-Double, global star Priyanka Chopra wrote, ‘The unstoppable @Simone_Biles !! Here’s to you girl…as you create history yet again!! You truly are an inspiration to everyone!! Super proud #GirlPower #Champion’
“Simone’s got enough gold medals at home, someone give this girl a crown,” commentator Nastia Liukin, a former gymnast stated at the end of the routine. “I mean, absolutely incredible.”
