Ishleen shared the pics from her Sikh wedding. She wore a green floor-length Anarkali that had beautiful golden embroidery on the bodice and on the skirt as well. She was looking very beautiful. She sported chudas which looked perfect with her wedding attire. She also sported a choker necklace with matching earrings, kundanmaangtikakalire and a nath. Her make-up was done by popular makeup artist, Leena Bhushan and it was perfect.

Ishleen shared the picture with caption: The bridal feet shot! 💎✨

The bridal feet shot! 💎 ✨ Indian weddings cannot be visualized without captivating jewelry. Every bride craves to have the most desirable jewelry trousseau for her big day. And why not? This is not an occasion that comes repeatedly in one’s life. Payals are traditional jewelry pieces worn in feet which are considered to be a sign of a family’s devotion towards their daughter. Here is what I picked up from @sonisapphire for my big day 💚 ✨ Clicked by @rajeshdigital ✨ #bridalinspo #bridalfeet #payal #bridesofinstagram #plussizebride #plussizebridal #plussizebrides #indianbridestories #indianbridalwear #indianbridalmakeup #indianbridaljewellery #indianbridal #bridesofindia #sikhbrides #sikhwedding #sikhbride #rajeshdigital #weddinginspo #indianwedding #indianbridal #weddingwire #wedmegood #shaadiwaliinspirations #weddinginspired

I promise this is the last sneak peek before I post the full look 🙈😂🐰 Also, yesterday a very close friend of mine sent me a link about something which @falgunipeacock had to say about plus size brides wearing deep necks, that it doesn't make them look. And also, that she subtly hints at brides to loose weight! Oh my God! Can you believe it! So here I am flaunting my curves in a deep neck outfit on my wedding day, and shutting off all stereotypes which these designers have set. 💞 . There was a time when we used to look at designers, to tell us what will look good on our body type. Not anymore. Women today exercise their agency to wear what they want to and designers must learn to work around that. 🌸 Mua @facestoriesbyleenabhushan Shot by @rajeshdigital Outfit @thebridalparadise @weddingwireindia @wedmegood @weddingplz @wed.book @weddingfables @weddingnet @weddingsutra #indianbride #bridesofindia #facestoriesbyleenabhushan #indianbridalmakeup #indianbridestories #sikhbrides #sikhbride #punjabibrides #punjabibride #sikhweddingphotography #bridalveil #veiledbride #bridalmakeup #bridalpotrait #plussizebride #fatbride #fatwedding #indianbridalwear #indianbridalhairstyle #bridalhairstyle #bridalmakeup #bridalinspo

Even last year ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed bridal outfit for a plus size bride. He designed a white floral printed lehenga with heavy embroidered border for bride Dolly Menghani. The lehenga had gold embellishments all over. The bride wore traditional jewelry and subtle makeup to complete her look.

Dress shopping when you are fat is hard! Now imagine wedding dress shopping when you are fat! Especially In a country like India where a bride is equivalent to a slim, dainty, petite, blushy feminine figure who hardly eats and constantly smiles! Imagine my horror! Lol! So I always wanted to wear red at my wedding but also didn't want to be a traditional red bride so chosing a blood red cocktail Gown was my way out! And honestly, since the beginning of the wedding preps, I had my heart set on @brideandbeautiful because I had seen so much of them here on Instagram! Upon visiting the store, I made them aware of the kind of colour, style, silhouette and flow I wanted and within a few minutes their designers were ready with my design all made up on a piece of paper. That prompt transfer of design from mind to paper was what made me decide that these guys actually knew their shit and I need to book with them. But then something really interesting happened. I was asked to come by in 2 weeks time for a trial, but not for my actual dress! They clearly mentioned that they deal with intricate corsets and they have never had any experience with making a gown for my size so they want to try before creating my actual gown. At first, I didn't know how to react! But then I realized that this was not said to belittle me or make me feel bad about my size, but because they believed in creating nothing less than the best for their brides! So yes, they made a trial piece for me and once they were satisfied with the fit of the corset, they moved on to the actual red gown and the results are in front of you. So now, these guys have a plus size trial piece in their store so that you can try it on and get a feel of the dress and silhouette before you decide to invest in one. 🌸 Also, had it not been for @facestoriesbyleenabhushan It would not have been possible to make a girl as big as me look good in this outfit. Thank you leena! This woman knows how to create panache in the most ordinary face! #plussizebride #plussizebrides #fatbride #redgown #cocktailgown #bridesofindia #indianbride #indianbridefashion #sikhbrides #plussizeweddingdress #fatpositive #nomorebodyshaming

Her picture was shared by Sabyasachi’s official account with caption: From sports people to bankers, actors to politicians, doctors to artists, we have been dressing up brides across the globe for the last 14 years. But some brides leave an indelible impression on our minds. Dolly Menghani is certainly up there as one of our all time favorites.
Confident, radiant and happy- Dolly is just a burst of sunshine! It’s girls like her that make our job such a privilege.
So from all of us at Sabyasachi- a collective shoutout- HELLO DOLLY!
