Sonu Sood’s role as Chedi Singh in Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ was very much loved by the audience. Although the actor’s antagonist avatar was remarkable, it was later revealed that he had first rejected the film.
In a new interaction with ANI, Sonu Sood opened up about rejecting ‘Dabangg’. He said in Hindi that he wrote a lot of scenes of Dabangg. He added that he changed the character a bit. “Earlier, he was brash and arrogant which I did not like. So I refused Dabangg then.”
Sonu Sood has also received attention for his charity work during the pandemic. During this conversation, the actor said that he has been offered a couple of political positions which he has turned down. Sonu told ANI “If we talk about politics, I have been offered a Rajya Sabha seat twice, but I did not accept it.” He added that the biggest posts have been offered. “Deputy Chief Minister has been offered. A lot of has been offered but these things don’t excite me.”
In the meantime, on the professional front, the actor was previously seen in Samrat Prithviraj. He likewise hosted MTV Roadies Season 18. Sonu will be now be seen in his forthcoming film, Fateh.
