A plate of steaming hot biryani is enough to make anyone’s mouth water. The delicacy made with rice and various herbs is among the favourite dishes of many people across the globe. Biryani is such a dish that one cannot have enough of it. But the question arises, how much is one ready to pay to have a good plate of biryani?

The Royal Gold Biryani, served at Dubai’s Bombay Borough is currently making it into the headlines for a special reason. This heavenly plate of the delicacy is garnished with 23 karat edible gold and approximately costs around Rs 19,707  (AED 1,000). Pertaining to its uniqueness, this biryani has become one of the most expensive biryanis across the globe.

The claim has been made by the Instagram page of the restaurant which serves this heavenly dish. However, it is not just the gold garnishing that makes the dish stand-out from the rest but it is also its cost.

The restaurant making this delicacy serves it on a large gold plate. The Royal Gold Biryani comes with three different types of rice- Biryani rice, Keema rice, and White and Saffron rice. All these three rice together weigh around 3 kgs. The rice is then garnished with baby potatoes, boiled eggs, roasted cashew, mint, pomegranate, and fried onions.

For the meat part, the rice is topped with a different variety of meats like The Kashmiri Lamb Seekh, Kebabs, Old Delhi Lamb Chops, Rajput Chicken Kebabs, Mughlai Koftas, and Malai Chicken Roast. If all of it is making you drool then wait there is more to come.

All of this is then complimented with a different selection of exquisite sauces, curries, and raitas. It includes- Nihari Salan, Jodhpuri Salan, Badami sauce. This all is then topped with almond and pomegranate raita to ease the spiciness.

Then comes the best part of the mouth-watering dish, it is garnished with 23 karat edible gold leaves.

The unique biryani is going viral on social media in no time. All the foodies are wondering will it be worth it to gorge on Rs 19k biryani or not. However, it is not stopping them from drooling.
