After the ban on Chinese applications, India-made smartphone applications are getting widely popular on the Google Play Store. After the Mitron App, another ‘Indian alternative’ of TikTok known as ‘Chingari’ app is getting popular and this app has been downloaded for more than 25 lakh times so far.
According to reports, the Chingari application has jumped from 6 lakh downloads to 25 lakh in just 10 days. This is a short video sharing platform that lets the users make interesting short clips and share it with their friends just like TikTok. The Chingari app has an average user rating of 4.7 which is a very good one.
This application is founded by two Bengaluru-based programmers, Biswatma Nayak and Siddharth Gautam. The application was first launched in the year 2018 on Google Play Store and Apple Store in 2019. It is a free application and user needs to sign up for using this platform.
