Twinkle Khanna, who never missed a chance of sharing a laugh filled moment at her short acting profession, just did the same on April 25.

The actress-turned-writer posted her image on personal Twitter handle from what comes out to be an advertisement shoot and gave it a capition as: “If someone told me in my twenties that I would still find myself on a set two decades later-I would have probably laughed just like this!”

Twinkle, who endorses a few cosmetic brands, can be witnessed getting her hairdo done in a studio whilst literally LOL-ing with ‘a cup of tea’ in her hand.

As if that wasn’t enough, she added this in the hashtags: “The chronicles of the middle-aged model.” Now, we are LOL-ing.

Here’s how Akshay’s wifey enlightened her “Thursday vibes.”

Ever since I was a little girl, I always had my nose buried in books. Books were my escape, they were my solace. I would run away to have tea with Alice in Wonderland, hop from one ink-stained asteroid to another with the Little Prince. I even reached Mars with Philip K Dick, decades before the Mars Orbiter Mission. When I finished 12th grade, being rather academically inclined, I wanted to study to be an accountant. My parents though were both in the entertainment industry and were keen that I follow in their footsteps. Like many young people I caved in and joined the family business. Eight years later, I had to face the fact that I had spectacularly failed as an actress. I went through a brief period of despair, till I realized that having failed at something did not mean I was a failure, it just meant that I now had the opportunity to try and succeed at myriad other things. I decided to cut my losses not my wrists and went back to working around all the things I had always loved. Somewhere along that path, I found my place in the world of words, a place where I could finally thrive surrounded by my beloved books, both as a reader and now as a writer as well. If my journey has taught me one valuable lesson then it is the importance of being resilient. This is something I try and inculcate in my kids as well. I tell them and perhaps also end up reminding myself that life is just like flying a kite. Sometimes you have to leave it loose, sometimes you have to hold on tight, sometimes your kite will fly effortlessly, sometimes you will not be able to control it and even when you are struggling to keep it afloat and the string is cutting into your hand, don't let go. The wind will change in your favour once again. Just don't let go. #KohlerBoldStories #PechaKucha #WomensDay #Kohler

On her special Women’s Day post, Akshay’s wifey poured her heart out over her career changes in a long post on her Insta handle and penned how she “caved in and joined the family business” and then “Eight years later, I had to face the fact that I had spectacularly failed as an actress.”

Twinkle forayed in the Bollywood industry in the year 1995. Her first movie was Barsaat and after that, she worked in flicks such as Mela, International Khiladi, Joru Ka Ghulam, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai and Jodi No.1 amongst others that were not big hits at the box office.

After switching her career as an author, at this time, Twinkle Khanna is a top notch and well known author, a writer, an interior designer, a film maker and a Twitter humorist, above all.

The actress had also made a special tweet regarding her “famous acting skills” formerly and even told media people someday, “I have no acting skills! You need acting skills to act, not intelligence.”

Twinkle Khanna made her debut as an writer with Mrs Funnybones in the year 2015 and then rolled out  The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad in the year 2016 and Pyjamas Are Forgiving in the year 2018.
