The former team India Cricket captain MS Dhoni’s Twitter the blue tick has been removed on Friday,6 August. The reason behind this activity is not known yet. Twitter is a microblogging social media platform and has removed the blue tick badge from the account it could be Indian cricketer has not been active on the platform.
Dhoni’s last tweet on his handle was posted on January 8, 2021. Twitter requires users to log in to the account in six months to be considered eligible for verification. Captain cool had joined the micro-blogging platform Twitter in November 2009 and has over 8.2 million followers. Apart from being regularly active on social media, users need to verify their identity, be part of a prominent organisation, brand or celebrity have a follower count in the top 0.5 per cent of active accounts in their geographical location, among other things.
