A day after ace Bollywood star and former BJP Lok Sabha associate Dharmendra Deol shared and erased a tweet on the agriculturalists complaining in contradiction of three farming bills, he made an “explanation” on why he removed his Twitter post.

Dharmendra, ex-MP from the city of Bikaner, wrote penned, “I request the government to quickly find some solution to the problems of farmers. With each rising day pandemic cases in Delhi are increasing … it is painful.” The 84-year-old actor restated that the administration must discover “some solution” to solve the agriculturalists’ difficulties.

But the veteran star removed his tweet on the same day. Dharam Ji has more than 455k followers on the popular micro blogging network.

However, a similar tweet was then shared by a Twitter user, who also tagged the veteran actor and requested him to share the reason behind removing the post. Sharing the same, a user tagged Sholay star and wrote, “Punjabi icon @aapkadharam paaji had tweeted this 13 hours ago. But later deleted it. Kuchh to majburiyan rahi hongi.. yun koi bewafa nahin hota.”

To answer the same, Dharam Ji wrote how some annoying comments made him distressed so he decided to get rid of the tweet.

“Aap ke Aise hi comments se dukhi ho kar apna tweet delete kar diya tha ..ji bhar ke gaali de leejiye Aap ki khushi mein khush hoon main..Haan ..Apne Kissan bhaiyon Ke liye ..bahut dukhi hoon ..Sarkaar ko jadldi koi hall tlaash kar Leena chahie. Hamari kisi ki koi sunwai nehin. (I felt sad by remarks like then, and hence deleted my tweet. You can abuse me to your heart’s content, I am happy that you are happy. I a sad for my farmer brothers. The government should find a solution fast, nobody is listening to us),” read Dharmendra Ji’s reply.
