Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation today at 4 pm amid the growing tension between India-China standoff and a new phase of the nation’s unlock. The Centre has announced the Unlock 2.0 guidelines and it does not provide many relaxations amid the growing infection spread in the nation.

There is a possibility that PM Modi will address the nation regarding the ongoing string between India-China and may announce India’s new strategies for tackling the situation. Right from the beginning of the lockdown, PM Modi is stressing on locally made products. Today also, PM Modi may emphasize on local strategies to strengthen India’s economy. Apart from this, yesterday, the government imposed a complete ban on 59 Chinese applications including popular apps like TikTok, Shareit and UC Browser. This step has been taken to counter the data privacy issues that provide a safer data experience to the citizens of India.

Regarding the India-China standoff, PM Modi has earlier said that India knows how to give a befitting reply to the opponents when it’s needed and India will not step back in such situations.

It is expected that PM Modi may urge people to follow the government-defined safety guidelines while going out to keep everything around safe.
