Varun Dhawan Turns Tailor, Stitches A Shirt For His Dad David Dhawan

Varun Dhawan is one of the most versatile actors of Bollywood. In just a span of 6 years, Varun has delivered back-to-back hits and has become an A-list star of Bollywood. The actor is currently gearing up for his upcoming film’s release Sui Dhaga: Made in India opposite Bollywood beauty Anushka Sharma.

The trailer of the film released recently and got a thumbs up from the viewers. The film is not a masala entertainer but has a beautiful motivational message stored in for us. Fans are delighted to see Varun and Anushka in desi and de-glam avatar.

Varun who plays a tailor in the film seems to have mastered in it. Recently, his dad and ace filmmaker of Bollywood David Dhawan celebrated his 63rd birthday and Varun had a special gift for his dad.

The actor went on to stitch a shirt for his daddy dearest all by himself and presented him.

Junior Dhawan shared a video on his Instagram account, where we see how he liked a skilled tailor, he stitches a shirt for his father. The actor captioned the video, “Papa dekho tumhara beta #SuiDhaaga mein maahir ho gaya!”

The October star chose a colorful, summery fabric to sew a beautiful shirt for his dad. Varun said, “I am not quite as good as trained tailors, but I have picked up some tailoring while making Sui Dhaaga. My dad thinks I am still a Kaccha Dhaaga (raw and young), but this will prove to him that I am not so raw anymore!”

Varun took out time from his hectic schedule to do something special and unusual for his father. It was indeed a sweet surprise for his dad which must have definitely brought a smile to his face.

Varun and his brother Rohit Dhawan made David’s birthday extra special by gifting their parents a customized staycation at a plush 5-star hotel in Mumbai. They also hosted a private dinner for David and Karuna and celebrated with their immediate family.

On the work front, Varun’s Sui Dhaga: Made In India is all set to hit the theatres in September. The film is directed by Sharat Katariya and is bankrolled by Yash Raj Films.
