Veteran star Dharmendra becomes part of Salman Khan’s grand project ‘Bharat’

After Race 3 Salman Khan is working on a much-awaited project ‘Bharat’. As already the news of talented actors becoming part of this film went viral. Another name has been added to this star-studded film. The veteran actor and superstar of his time ‘Dharmendra’ has agreed to work in Salman’s film. Bharat is said to be a period drama which will feature Salman in 5 phases of his life. He will be seen playing a thin lean guy to becoming an adult aged man. The film is also said to be a tribute to Raj Kapoor’s ‘Mera Naam Joker’. Salman who is also known for helping the B-town celebrities with their career recently worked with Bobby Deol in Race 3. Now its father Dharmendra’s turn to work with Salman.

Dharmendra who already was a part of ‘Mera Naam Joker’ said “Working with Raj Kapoor Saab was a dream come true for me. I had idolized him and Dilip Kumar Saab long before I became an actor. When he offered me a role in Mera Naam Joker, I just grabbed it. No questions asked. Now when Salman, who is very close to me and my family, is doing something similar, I’d be most happy to advise him in whatever way he wants.”

The star-cast itself is a topic of discussion these days. After Priyanka Chopra, actresses Disha Patani and Tabu are also signed to be a part of this project. Disha Patani portrays the role of a trapeze artist in a circus. Priyanka Chopra too after a long time will work in an Indian film as she was busy with her international projects. Actor and comedian Sunil Grover are also playing a prominent role in the movie.

It’s for the third time that Salman Khan and director Ali Abbas Zafar have collaborated for a movie. This director-actor ‘jodi’ has given blockbuster hits like ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Sultan’.
