After the devastating accident of the Coromandel Express in Odisha, many pictures and videos have surfaced online from the site of accident, which shows the damage it has caused. The collision involving three trains caused significant deaths and left many passengers injured. As per the official reports, at least 238 people have died and more than 900 were injured. The accident, which is described as the deadliest rail accident in over past two decades, involved Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express, and a goods train laden with iron ore.
Now, a video has emerged online which allegedly shows the moment before Coromandel Express collided with the goods train. The video was seemingly captured by one of the passengers and it has been uploaded by Odisha TV on its official Twitter handle.
The video features a sanitation personnel mopping the floor of an AC coach, while many of the passengers are sleeping on their respective berths. Then, a sudden jerk which might have thrown the recording the video off balance. Post that, the video gets blurry and eventually its all dark and only screams can be heard.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also visited the site of crash to inspect the on-going operations.
